Tasting a typical food of a place you visit is like tasting the culture and personalities of the people of the place.In Isfhahn you can have number of different dishes and eats exclusive to the people of this city.

1-Beryuni or Beryani

Beryani is complete meal served for the lunch,it’s mainly served as lunch because of it’s being a high calorie meal and full of nutrition.Tourists and travelers from other provinces would look for a place where they can have this delicious dish.Beryani is prepared using the minced  lambs and grilled on big rounded plates and decorated with vegetables and walnuts.

Fereni is actually a snack and not a meal,people in Isfahan try this snack when they are out in the city for walk or in picnic with their family.It’s prepared using  a mixture of milk,starch or rice powder,rose water,sugar and water.A very sweet syrup of grape is also added to Fereni.

3-Doogh and Gooshfil:

This is another snack people of Isfahan try sometimes especially during summers. Dough and Goshtfil no need to say is consisted of to words Doogh (a famous traditional drink you can find everywhere in Iran and comes with verity of flavors),Gooshfil (A kind of sweet).It’s a very strange mixture but tastes really nice specially if you’re trying it for the first time.

On this location you can have both Fereni adn doogh O Gooshfil.
