White Chador

What are the reasons ?

There are some speculations over this different custom , some believe that  it is to describe the whiteness of women’s clothes and to ward off evil spirits. Also  as people have been cultivating cotton here and the white cloth made out of it simply reflects the sunshine. Therefore, women prefer wearing  a white Chador rather than a black one which undoubtedly absorbs the sunshine way more.The other reason of the white chador of the women of Varzaneh  could be the ancient religion of the people which was Zoroastrianism. As the white color in this religion is considered to be divine. Therefore , wearing white Chadors might have origins in this belief.
